Student-Athlete
& College Recruiting Event 2008
This nationally-acclaimed program sets the record straight about
college athletics and the recruiting process. All athletes in grades
8-12, and their parents, should attend this program. The event will be
held on March 10, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at the Chillicothe High School PAC.

Chillicothe is a member of the Midland
Empire Conference in all sports. Other schools in our conference include:
Cameron, Smithville, Platte County (being replaced in 2008 by St. Joseph
Bishop LeBlond), St. Joseph Benton, St. Joseph Lafayette, Savannah, and
Maryville. For more information on sports in the MEC, visit mecsports.com, KCHI Radio, or the C-T online.
The Missouri
State High School Activities Association also has information on all
sports in the state.
Students enrolled in the Chillicothe R-II School District have the opportunity to participate in activities beyond the in-school curriculum. Certain activities come under the direction of Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA). These activities include basketball, cheerleading, golf, tennis, volleyball, baseball, softball, instrumental music, flag corp, vocal music, football, pom pon, wrestling and track. Students participating in the above activities plus those of other school-sponsored clubs are covered by
our citizenship
policy - a Student Eligibility Standard. If you cannot open this

Willard, CHS football coach and athletic director, was named Northwest
District Athletic Director of the Year at the 34th annual conference and
banquet of the Missouri Interscholastic Athletic Administrators
Association held in the spring of 2006 at Osage Beach. Willard is a member
of the Missouri Valley College Athletic Hall of Fame, a two-time Coach of
the Year, and has served on the MIAAA Board of Directors.
