ABOVE: The Grand River Area Family YMCA's Welch Gymnasium was a busy place January 11, 2008, as toddlers and their parents converged for a Parents As Teachers playgroup field trip. The children were invited to play at different stations in the gymnasium as well as take advantage of the YMCA's Play Park. Refreshments were also offered to those attending.

Parents as Teachers hosted a “Last Blast of Summer” for children
and their parents on the Garrison School playground on September 11, 2007.
Those attending participated in many activities.
